Get Personal with Avani Gregg on Watch Together
Today, we’re excited to announce that we’re bringing more new content exclusively to Messenger and Instagram through the Watch Together feature. With Watch Together, you and your friends can tune into Avani Gregg’s new show Here for It with Avani Gregg as well as IGTV, Reels, TV shows, movies and trending videos in real-time over video chats. This feature is available on Messenger and to anyone who chooses to update to the new Messenger experience on Instagram.
Here for It with Avani Gregg is an eight-part series, airing every Monday and co-hosted by Avani Gregg that premieres today and will focus on social issues that Gen Z is facing. Today’s co-host is her bff Amelie Zilber to discuss friendships. Anthony Reeves, Charli D’Amelio and James Charles will join as co-hosts in the coming weeks.
To start watching “Here for It With Avani Gregg” with your friends on the Watch Together feature, simply start a video call in Messenger or Instagram, or create a Messenger Room. In an Instagram video call, tap the media button in the bottom right and select the ‘TV & Movies’ tab. In a Messenger video call, swipe up to access the menu, select Watch Together then select the ‘TV & Movies’ tab. From there you can select various content, including Here for It With Avani Gregg.
New Instagram Messaging Features Continuing to Roll Out Globally
Watch Together is amongst ten new messaging features that are continuing to roll out globally to anyone who chooses to update to the new Messenger experience on Instagram. Other new features include vanish mode, animated message effects and custom emoji reactions to name a few.
With this update, you can now reach your friends and family whether they’re on Messenger or Instagram and can control where you receive messages and calls, such as in your chats or in your message requests.
