New Ways To Express Yourself: Space Jam Chat Theme, Emoji Search Bar and Recent Reactions

There are three new updates that will help you and your friends express yourselves better in your convos on Messenger and Instagram DMs: a new Space Jam chat theme, an emoji search bar for finding your favorite emojis more easily and a recent reaction feature. 

Whether you’re an old-school fan or just a new member of the Space Jam fandom, you can now try out our brand new Space Jam chat theme, available in Messenger and Instagram DMs. Change up your chat experience, indulge in some nostalgia and ball out with the Bugs Bunny-inspired chat theme 🏀. 

Every day, people send more than 2.4 billion messages with emojis on Messenger. In addition to launching Soundmojis – the next-level emoji that allows you to send short sound clips in  Messenger – we’re excited to share two additional ways for you to take advantage of all the benefits that emojis have to offer. 

We know how important it is to be able to quickly locate your favorite emoji. So we added an emoji search bar at the top of the reaction picker so you can easily search for whatever emoji your ❤️ desires. No more cramped thumbs from excessive scrolling just to find that one obscure emoji. We’ve also made it easier than ever to react 😮 with the new recent reactions section of the reaction picker. All your most recently used reactions will show up here, so you won’t have to go looking for your favorites every time you want to use one. Emoji search bar and recent reactions are rolling out globally. Time is of the essence while chatting!
