New Ghostbusters: Afterlife MovieMate™ Experience Available on Messenger and Instagram

In celebration of the iconic franchise, Ghostbusters, Messenger, Instagram, and Meta Creative Shop have teamed up with Sony Pictures to launch a new MovieMate™ “second screen” chat experience for the latest film in the franchise, Ghostbusters: Afterlife–now available on digital, and also on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD February 1st.  

Starting today, MovieMate™ will be available for Ghostbusters: Afterlife, giving movie watchers never-before-seen easter eggs and behind the scenes content in real time as they watch the film…and hunt for ghosts! 

Developed in partnership with Meta Creative Shop, MovieMate™ can be accessed by fans on Messenger and Instagram as they watch the film at home. MovieMate™ seamlessly syncs in real time with the film, sharing behind-the-scenes moments, entertaining facts, and interactive trivia. 🎬 MovieMate™ is built for both new fans and superfans alike and will help you feel like you’re 100% up to speed, even if you haven’t seen any of the Ghostbusters movies yet or know any of the spoilers. It’s also filled with a plethora of surprises from the original 1984 Ghostbusters film. Hope you’re ready to bust some ghosts!
